This was my 4th Internet Marketing Superconference. The days are packed full of information from the countless guest speakers who share stories of their success and failures.
There are marketing conferences and then there are bootcamps for accelerated learning.
If you’ve never been to either one of these events here are the differences:
Marketing conferences or seminars have many guest speakers who provide you with good information on their business model.
In most cases the speakers present enough details on their business models that if you’re resourceful enough, and if you apply what you learned, it’s very possible to make money in their field of expertise.
At a conference or seminar of course your not given all the details and certainly not a step-by-step presentation. Marketing seminars and conferences are great as long as you know this going in. If not, you could walk away very disappointed.
Regarding the accelerated learning bootcamps or learning labs.
These are very focused and intense days of learning a particular subject. If done correctly you will walk away with virtually a blueprint for making money step by step.
These bootcamps are not inexpensive by most people’s standards BUT of the two if you are looking for a business to make money with and want personalized instruction the bootcamps likely your best choice.
Internet marketing seminars and conferences are where the experts present their business models showing you their results then hopefully, in true marketing fashion, the speakers try to upsell you into their more expensive accelerated DVD or CD course, coaching, mentorship, or classroom program.
Your first experience at a marketing conference or seminar can be totally overwhelming especially if you are just starting online.
If you don’t have a good foundation or understanding of the various ways of making money online before you go to a seminar I suggest you spend some time researching the various models of making money online.
Because I don’t know your level of marketing experience personally or if you’ve ever been to one of these events I wanted to give you an idea of what It’s all about.
More to come!
Jim
P.S. Adsense - how could I forget adsense?
Yes - it was everywhere. Systems of all kinds being promoted and some of them very expensive.
Fortunately I was lucky enough to meet a bloke named Paul.
Pauls from England and he's NO broke bloke either!
I pretty sure I've convinced Paul to reveal some of his methods of blogging effectively for getting your sites indexed.
Remember blog and ping is NOT dead and Paul proved it to me this weekend.
Seriously - you don't want to miss these post as I'm still on an extreme natural high after hanging out with other top notch marketers this weekend in Las Vegas.
